Local search in Spain remains far too fragmented

Finding housing, work, services or local products still requires users to move between maps, social groups, chats and specialist portals.

Finding a home, a professional, a job or a second-hand product in Spain still commonly requires several applications, social groups, maps and private conversations. Each channel holds part of the information, but rarely provides a complete and comparable view.

This fragmentation wastes time and affects small providers most. An electrician, removal company or neighbourhood shop may deliver an excellent service and still remain difficult to find because its digital presence is scattered or dependent on informal recommendations.

The answer is not simply to collect more listings. A useful local platform must organise information by location, availability, category and context, while also providing clear profiles and direct communication. The quality of the structure matters more than the raw number of published offers.
