A national platform can share technology, identity and rules, but it should not treat Spain as a completely uniform market. Priorities in Valencia, Andalusia, Catalonia, Murcia and the islands differ according to housing, mobility, seasonality and population structure.
Regional design does not mean building a separate application for every city. It means adapting categories, terminology, filters, locations and recommendations to local reality while retaining one common infrastructure.
This balance improves relevance without fragmenting the product. Users receive more useful results, and local businesses compete within a context that better reflects their service area. National scale works best when it is built on genuine regional understanding.
