Spanish merchandise exports reached €387.0916 billion in 2025, an increase of 0.7% from the previous year. Non-energy exports grew by 1.8%, while energy exports fell by 13.7%.

Food, beverages and tobacco represented 19.3% of exports, capital goods accounted for 19.4%, and chemical products contributed 17.1%.

Exporting begins before transportation

Companies must adapt documentation, pricing, sales support, warranties and communication. Translating a website is not the same as understanding how another market buys, negotiates and handles complaints.

Logistics becomes part of the product

Delivery times, packaging, insurance, customs and traceability directly affect the buyer's experience. A strong product can lose competitiveness through unpredictable delivery or incorrect paperwork.

Diversification reduces vulnerability

Dependence on one country, distributor or category concentrates risk. Sustainable internationalisation combines several markets with deep commercial relationships and genuine operational capacity.
